This continuing education workshop series equips mental health professionals with the knowledge and skills to provide menopause-informed care within their clinical practice. Through a blend of didactic learning, case-based discussion, and interdisciplinary collaboration, participants will deepen their understanding of how hormonal, psychological, and social changes intersect at midlife to shape mental health outcomes.
Led by Dr. Lisa Chacko, MD MSCP and Dr. Natalie Indelicato, PhD LMHC-QS, this interactive program will explore menopause physiology, psychosocial themes at midlife, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Participants will learn how to recognize menopause-related presentations, support effective medical collaboration, and apply biopsychosocial models to improve outcomes for women in this developmental stage.
The series will also introduce frameworks for interprofessional collaboration, empowering clinicians to integrate medical and mental health perspectives while maintaining scope of practice and ethical standards.
